Rental Period

The letting period is from Saturday to Saturday.

Arrival: from 4.00pm

Departure: 10am

Occupancy

Four adults maximum, no additional overnight guests are permitted.

No pets.

No children under the age of 12.

Please note smoking is not permitted in the house or on the grounds at any time.

Booking & Payment

Booking are handled through our website and payment is through the secure third-party provider, Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

50% deposit is payable on booking, the balance will become due 60 days before the letting period. This payment is automatically collected from the card used to book and a receipt will be emailed to you once complete.

Cancellation

If for any reason the booking is cancelled and the house is re-let successfully a full refund will be given. If it is not possible to re-let and the cancellation is more than 60 days before the let date, the deposit will be forfeited. If it is not possible to re-let and the cancellation is less than 60 days before the let period the full amount will be forfeited.

The owners will be entitled to cancel the stay if any of the terms of the rental agreement are broken.

If for any unforeseen reason the owners have to cancel the booking, a full refund of the rental fee paid will be given. No further claim may be made.

It is recommended that guests take out appropriate travel insurance to cover the reimbursement of any costs that may arise due to cancellation or unforeseen circumstances.

Breakages & Damages

A good housekeeping bond of £250 is pre-authorised on the card used for your booking at commencement of your stay. We understand that accidents happen so please do let us know if any damage or a breakage occurs so we can rectify or replace an item in readiness for the next guest. We don’t mind a broken plate but break the whole set and we’ll have to make charge… Please leave the house in a clean and tidy condition, where no breakage or damage occurs the housekeeping bond will not be taken.

Services

Services included: electricity, heating, air-conditioning, wi-fi, duvets, bed linen, towels, wood for the log burner, essential cleaning and laundry supplies. There is an EV charge point available at a flat rate of £75 per vehicle per week. Charging electric cars through the mains is not permitted.

Right of Entry

The owners reserve the right of entry to the property for maintenance, repairs or inspection. Wherever possible 24 hours notice (except in the case of emergency) will be given.

Liability

The owners accept no liability for any death, personal injury, loss or damage of guest’s personal property while staying at The Field House. The use of the property and contents is entirely at guest's risk.

Rental Agreement

The Rental Agreement is between the owners of The Field House and the paying guest/s.
